Additive mechanism
FC-8 Gas-Cutting Additive is a high-tech product developed by
the United States. FC-8 Gas-Cutting Additive is a special sort
of gas fuel accelerant containing combustion-supporting, polymer
resistant, catalyze components, which is able to improve the
frequency and wavelength of the flame, most of which is absorbed
by the metals heated, and the temperature of flame shall be
centralized by radiation restraint (3327℃). The cutting gas
containing FC-8 Gas Additive features on stable physical and
chemical natures; it can decrease the cost and improve cutting
quality, it also is a safe gas fuel easy to operate and store.
FC-8 additives has two categories-A type (>5℃) and B type
(<5℃), which alters the undesirable cutting in both summer
and winter. Therefore, FC-8 is a kind of unparalleled cutting
gas in China, and the only substitution for ethine and is honored
as green environment friendly product.
Usage of FC-8 cutting gas Flame cutting:
to cut with the flame of FC-8 High-Energy Cutting Gas has the
advantages like higher speed than any other gas, less alignment
because of slight heat deformation, smooth cutting surfaces,
no residues generated, no polish and clean-up needed, no surface
carbureted and hardened, and effective production and low costs,
etc. Surface treatment: FC-8 High-Energy Cutting Gas has a hot
main flame and a sub-flame with high heat value and the centralized
fire which is excellent in both heat conduction and stable.
In the surface treatment by FC-8, the special techniques used
in ethine are unnecessary, so inexperienced operator can do
well. Melting: to weld black non-ferrous metals by FC-8 is similar
to ethine. Welding: a specialized welding tip for FC-8 has a
simpler operation than ethine, fast and good quality.
